This second volume picks up where the first left off in the identification and illustration of hundreds of glass candlesticks. Covering pieces made by 15 different American companies, alphabetically from Fostoria to Jefferson Glass. More than 800 color photographs and catalogreprints from old trade journals and advertisements light up the book. Each chapter includes a history of the factory and information about production colors and trademarks used. Every candlestick is described with dimensions, production dates, known colors, information on reissues and reproductions, the current location of the mold, as well as current values. This volume will be of particular interest to collectors of Heisey, Hobbs Brockunier, Imperial, Jeannette, and Indiana Glass. A well-illustrated appendix on identifying toy candlesticks, a glossary, and an extensive bibliography round out the book.
