Shoes of Glass, 2 is a revised and greatly expanded edition of Libby Yalom's earlier book on this subject (now out of print). This book contains almost all of the shoes from the original edition, plus scores of new finds and examples of one-of-a-kind decorations. The author not only identifies and prices each of the illustrated shoes, she gives valuable advice on distinguishing originals from reproductions.More than 900 glass shoes are shown in color and black and white. The book features catalog reprints, patent drawings, and much new information. There is something for collectors of blown art glass, pressed wares, cut glass, and other categories. Companies represented include Fenton, Gillinder, Pilgrim and Libbey Glass, and shoes featured were made in America, England, Germany, Italy, and the Czech Republic.
