The series premiere introduces Alex Kane, a security expert who encounters an elite gambling organization called the House that is led by the mysterious Mr. Johnson. Kane joins the group, whose members place bets on whether he can prevent future crimes in hopes that they can assist him in catching his ex-wife's murderer.

While out to stop a diamond heist, Kane runs into a former old colleague who is looking for information; while attending Ginny's funeral, Kane uncovers shocking evidence about her murder.

Alex travels to Los Angeles to stop the Southwest Sniper before he kills again.

Det. Brown discovers the truth about a hit man, leading him to arrest Alex's client. Meanwhile, Mr. Johnson helps Alex uncover clues about Ginny's murder, but Cassandra has her own plan.

A student hacks the Pentagon and Alex attempts to protect him from both the House and the Chinese government; and new discoveries are made about Ginny's whereabouts. Meanwhile, Mr. Johnson takes drastic measures after issues arise with an old friend.

The House bets on whether Alex can stop a serial killer by Halloween; Detective Brown pursues Cassandra.

Kane tries to stop an angry father from seeking revenge; Cassandra sends Kane to the location of the next attack; Mr. Johnson has an underlying motive for going to Chicago.

Alex intervenes to stop a mysterious newcomer to the Las Vegas drug scene from instigating a gang turf war.

Alex and Cassandra team up to find a rogue former US Marshal who holds the key to Ginny's disappearance.
