Plot

In the six years since her bitter divorce, Bess Curran has built a successful life as an interior designer in the historic riverside town of Stillwater, Minnesota. Still angry with her ex-husband, Michael, for abandoning their marriage, she's proud of their two children, twenty-one-year-old Lisa and nineteen-year-old Randy. But she has not counted on her daughter's determination to get her parents back together again. When Lisa invites Bess and Michael to dinner, each is a surprise to the other, and the awkward reunion begins with angry recriminations. Even so, Bess finds herself still attracted to the well-built and handsome Michael.
