Rip Hunter and Booster Gold flee a year in time, to the moment that Rip witnessed the birth of a new Multiverse. 52 identical Earths now exist on different vibrational frequencies. There, they find Mister Mind, now having completed his incubation, ravaging each Earth, leaving them drastically different than they were before. If they are unable to stop him, Mr. Mind will feed on each Earth until the multiverse is dead and rotting.Rip Hunter has a plan to save the multiverse, but to accomplish it, a great sacrifice will be asked for by Booster Gold. And even should he succeed, no one in the multiverse will ever see his shining moment of glory.
