Hank continues to investigate the viability of Dr. Rao's cure, while Logan makes it well known that he does not want Beast to accept the cure. Cyclops goes to Nick Fury to investigate the weapons used by the terrorists from the previous issue, and confirms that they are modified S.H.I.E.L.D. artillery. Fury denies involvement or knowledge of Ord, but then the (still unnamed) Agent Abigail Brand of S.W.O.R.D. comes to check up on what Fury thinks Scott knows. Back in the lab, Hank is extremely concerned by the strain of the particular mutant that was being used to create the cure.
