Dick is in Rome, following Mary Redhorn, wife of the corrupt Chief of Police in Bludhaven. What he doesn't know is why police in Bludhaven were trying to kill her. But this situation apparently extends to the Italian Carabinieri. He fights to keep her safe, but he's unable to keep an eye on her as she flees through the Vatican. Ultimately, this European odyssey leads elsewhere. Back home, Catalina Flores, a young lady who made Dick's acquaintance seeking martial arts training is inspired by John Law, the Tarantula. But what is she inspired to do?
