The Titans are released on bail except for Starfire, who is being held for the murder of the man in the Wildebeest suit. Nightwing and Raven investigate and discover the man in the Wildebeest suit was a scientist named Jonathan Surrey, who developed remote-control exo-suits. Further investigation proved the radiation that killed Surrey was much higher than anything generated by Starfire’s starbolts. As Nightwing and Raven investigate, Raven unwittingly uses her emotion powers and shares a kiss with Nightwing, who she believes loves her. Nightwing then tangles with the Wildebeest, who later escapes. There is enough evidence to clear Starfire, but all leads to the identity of the Wildebeest prove to be dead ends. The Wildebeest vows to exact revenge on the Titans.
