Chris [Dial H for HERO] King is being chased by an insane and vengeful Vicki [Dial H for HERO] Grant, his former girlfriend. As Vicki shifts into various murdering forms, Chris King narrowly escapes with his life, through the assistance of the Teen Titans. Chris King later recovers at teh Titans Tower, where he relates his history with the H Dial; After months of adventures – and romance – with Vicki Grant, the two teens grew apart when Chris King went to college. Vicki mysteriously reentered his life bent on revenge. Elsewhere, Sarah Charles tries to convince Vic Stone to continue their relationship, despite her impending move to the West Coast. Meanwhile, Vicki Grant succombs to the dial again and hunts Chris King to Titans Tower. Vicki trounces the Teen Titans and kidnaps Chris King, revealing the identity of her masters: The Children of the Sun!
