Two Wildebeest agents assigned to capture Danny Chase are reprimanded for their failure. One of those agents is later revealed as Nightwing in disguise, having posed as a Wildebeest since his supposed capture. The Wildebeests discover experiment X-24 (Pantha) has escaped. The Wildebeests hunt Pantha, who also encounters Deathstroke, Dayton, and Arella. Phantasm follows Pantha and invites her to join his hunt against the Wildebeests.
