Presents the General Society of the War of 1812, a confederation of state societies dedicated to collecting and preserving documents relating to the War of 1812, and to promoting scholarly and family history research on all aspects of the war. Provides a list of all of the affiliated state societies with links to those which have historical Web pages. Includes a bibliography of the Society's publications and an annotated list of selected Web sites that relate to the War of 1812.
