Plot

Alan Brotchie's latest book title is self-explanatory except that the coverage extends beyond Rothesay to include all of the Isle of Bute. The period covered runs from the 1890s to the present day and so includes horse buses and trams electric trams and motor buses. Other transport interest includes steamers and the miniature railway at Ettrick Bay. The story of motor buses on the island runs from early private operators to today's West Coast Motors.
