The brief history of the Chantilly Baptist Church was written by Shawnee Marsh. The information used to write the history was taken from the church's 100th anniversary commemorative book that they published as well as information obtained from talking to long time member of the church Deacon Austin O'Neal.

The survey of the Chantilly Baptist Church cemetery was done on April 26th, 1997. The numbered rows correspond with the numbers next to the names of those buried in the cemetery. This map shows where in the cemetery these people were buried.

Photocopies of Chantilly Baptist Church Records were obtained from the original book of records kept by the Chantilly Baptist Church. This book of records dates back to the early 1900s and is the only record that the church has from that time period. Information has been recorded in that same book through 1996.
