"The apostle Paul's letter to the Colossian church is a christological masterpiece. The letter was primarily intended to answer the heresies of that day, but "in the process of meeting error, the apostle was led to give us deep insights into the person and work of our Savior," as Dr. Harrison points out in the introduction.
