This commentary will help you to hear afresh the timeless message of Ezekiel. As the community of God's people, we need to be reminded again of our call to obey God and of His judgment upon our sin. Yet we also need to remember, both corporately and individually, God's promise of renewal: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh" (Ezek. 36:26).
