Due to the inherently treacherous nature of Dr. Mindbender, COBRA has learned that the Decepticons intend to use their alliance to ultimately cause the destruction of the planet Earth, using Power Station Alpha to harvest all the energy they need to win their war on their distant homeworld of Cybertron. As their Decepticon 'Allies' dispatch COBRA to do battle with the surviving Autobots, Serpentor makes his own plans.
