An atomic bomb being tested fails to detonate, confusing the scientists who created it. The Flash, now equipped with a cosmic treadmill, is able to find the cause in time. Alien invaders in the future have planted an anti-radiation device in Earth's past that disables all potential atomic technology. Flash and Kid Flash travel to two different eras in time to set things right.
