Attempting to understand Angle Man, the cops accidently free him when they give him access to one of his older devices. Zatanna, in fits and starts, has an unpleasant conversation with Selina that begins by asking her if she wonders why she's no longer a criminal. Smart Bomb, still undercover, receives orders to find the escaped Angle Man. Angle Man's angle had just one change, leaving him flat-footed when Smart Bomb catches him. But he plays the Angles, offering Smart Bomb an introduction to Black Mask. That fits Sam Bradley Jr's undercover agenda so he agrees. Zatanna finally tells Selina how the justice league brainwashed her. She's angry, and immobilizes Zatanna with tape before kicking her out a window. They fight briefly before Zatanna leaves. Angle Man takes Smart Bomb to Black Mask, who explains that he plans to hurt Catwoman by killing someone close to her. And Catwoman examines an array of costumes on her bed. She literally doesn't know who she is any more...
