Strange Tales, Vol. 1

After providing a summation of Adam Warlock's long history, the story progresses when a woman is attacked by three beings from the Universal Church of Truth, who seek to execute her for heresy. The Universal Church abides by tenets of peace and equality, but only for members of the Church. Those who will not join the church are purified by invasion forces, and any who question the Church are tracked down by it's Grand Inquisition. Determined to end the threat posed by the Universal Church, Warlock seeks to learn more of the Magus, around whom the Church's doctrine centers. But will what he learns break his resolve?
