Banshee is investigating Factor Three when he is attacked by a spider robot. He only transmits a partial warning to the X-Men before his capture. Meanwhile, Peter Parker encounters the robot and destroys it before the X-Men arrive. The mutants jump to the wrong conclusion, assuming Spider-Man is the threat that they had been warned about.
