"Practice Makes The Perfect Crime" - Black Hand has escaped from prison, and has created a device that creates illusions, fooling people into thinking he hasn't stolen items that he has safely gotten away with. Green Lantern figures this out, but is soon imprisoned by officers who have been fooled into thinking GL is the Black Hand. With his power ring almost out of energy, how will he escape prison and track the real criminal?

"The Fight For The Championship Of The Universe" - Bru Tusfors has come to Earth to fight Green Lantern, who has a reputation for being a great fighter. GL initially refuses to fight for spectacle, but when Bru starts committing crimes, he meets the challenge. Can GL defeat someone who is faster, stronger, and able to repel energy such as the ring constructs?
