Still upset at the others, Johnny hasn't returned home. Hiding in a homeless shelter, he runs into an amnesiac. After helping give the man a shave and a haircut, Johnny recognizes him as Namor, the Sub-Mariner. He drops Namor in the ocean, which helps restore his memory. Namor then returns to Atlantis to find it in ruins due to atomic bomb tests. Not knowing where his people have moved to, he decides to seek revenge against humanity, and calls upon a monster named Giganto to aid him. Johnny knows he can't defeat Namor alone, so he returns to the FF hoping their combined strength would be enough.
