This book is part of a series of supplementary books on English language skills aimed at adults and young adults. Each book is divided into units designed to last for a lesson of approximately 50 minutes and includes a grid describing the skills, topic and language functions covered in each unit. The text consists of unit themes such as "jobs", "homes" and "money". It includes oral activities, a grammatical focus for each unit plus written activities for class or homework. The range of activities for group, pair and class work include interviews, questionnaires, role-play, ranking, discussion, picture interpretation and description and games.
