They will all learn which sword is stronger, the Sword of Omens, or Excalibur.
The Thundercats must solve a thousand-year-old mystery if they're to stop the curse of a powerful ice-ogre who assaults Hook Mountain Castle.
Lion-O learns the meaning of not judging by appearance when he is caught up in the conflict between an ugly yet gentle being, and an angelic yet wicked one.
An unknown ship containing a dangerous radioactive substance approaches Third-Earth and the Mutants and later Mumm-Ra try to use the powerful materials within to destroy the Thundercats.
Vultureman invents a voice imitator that the Mutants use to deceive, drive apart, and almost conquer the Thundercats.
Mumm-Ra transforms into the Dream master to invade the dreams and control the minds of the Thundercats.
Due to a malfunction with his invisibility whip while rescuing a warrior maiden from the Mutants, Tygra is stuck invisible and needs help fast.
During mountain climbing, Lion-O is attacked by the Mutants and an avalanche seals them in a cave. Meanwhile, Jackalman steals the sword from Lion-O.
In his quest to rule Third-Earth, Vultureman invents a potion that makes him powerful enough to defeat the Mutants, Mumm-Ra and even the Thundercats.
The Thundercats play a joke on the Mutants by creating a fake Sword of Omens for them to steal, only to have it backfire when they later capture Snarf.
Lion-O's final test to become the true Lord of the Thundercats. He must defeat his greatest enemy, without the Sword of Omens, and no help from the other Thundercats. He must defeat Mumm-Ra.
Yearning for more respect by the older Thundercats, Wilykit and Wilykat borrow their weapons for practice, only to have them stolen by the Mutants.
Mumm-Ra meets his exact opposite in Mumm-Rana, a priestess of light. He battles her and manages to take over her mind with dark magic, and then uses her fearsome powers against the Thundercats.
Vultureman invents a device that can switch one mind with another. He uses it to transfer Snarf's mind into Panthro's body, and vice-versa.
Under the guise of Dr Dometome, Mumm-Ra lures Lion-O to a place where he is forced to fight phantoms of foes from the past in an attempt to eliminate the lord of the Thundercats.
Mumm-Ra is weak and faces the threat of three new Thundercats, so he sends the Mutants to release his old enemies the Lunataks from their imprisonment in order to bolster the forces of darkness.
The Mutants succeed in releasing the Lunataks, who immediately begin looting Thundrillium and taking slaves from the local villages, leading to their first run-in with the Thundercats.
The Thundercats build the Tower of Omens to monitor for new and dangerous enemies. Meanwhile, Ma-Mutt, disguised as a Berbil, spies on the Thundercats.
Mumm-Ra's power is restored, and Snarfer makes it to Third-Earth but crashes in the Lunataks territory, leading the Thundercats to rush to find him before they do.
In searching for the Lunataks flying fortress Sky Tomb, the Thundercats discover that Mumm-Ra is alive again and more powerful than ever before, leading to an epic battle between him and Lion-O.
Mumm-Ra takes the form of Jaga and creates dissent within the ranks of the Thundercats, causing them to fight each other.
The Lunatak Alluro uses a powerful talisman on the Thundercats that takes away all their self-confidence, leaving them hopeless and confused.
In his latest evil scheme, Mumm-Ra plans on using the legendary Mask of Gorgon, an artifact which turns all to stone, against the Thundercats.
After venturing into a remote cave on Hook Mountain in search of Thundrillium, the Lunataks and later the Thundercats fall victim to a bizarre entity with the power to expand upon the negative influences in a person's soul.
Mumm-Ra summons the Berserkers and coats their armour in Thundrainium and sends them to assault the Thundercats at the Tower of Omens.
Ravage Island is an island on Third-Earth with a powerful beacon on it that can control minds. Mumm-Ra seeks to use the beacon to make the Thundercats his slaves.
Thanks to an unfortunate mishap with a time capsule, Lion-O rapidly grows younger and younger. His fellow Thundercats must reverse the process before he ceases to exist.
Vultureman builds a powerful sonic gun with a sound stone he steals from the Lunataks territory of Darkside.
The day of the eclipse arrives and any spell Mumm-Ra casts will last until the next eclipse. He casts a spell of decay on the Cats Lair, causing it to fall apart.
Chilla freezes Snarfer's spaceship as he heads back to the Tower of Omens. When Mandora gets involved, Chilla freezes her and becomes a fugitive from the law.
Luna discovers that her grandmother's magic belt is in the possession of Mumm-Rana and heads straight for the Pyramid of Light to claim the artifact and greatly increase her own power.
Luna tricks Hachiman and steals his sword, the Thunder-Cutter, and gives it the Lunataks new samurai robot, the Automaton.
Feeling neglected, Wilykat and Wilykat decide to run away to teach the rest of the Thundercats a lesson. However, thanks to Mumm-Ra, not all goes according to plan.
When all of the Thundercats except Lion-O are gone, Mumm-Ra switches Snarf with Ma-Mutt, who gives Lion-O poisoned candy fruit.
Vultureman builds a devastating device called the Thundranium projector which Wilykat and Wilykit manage to ruin. In return, he damages their space boards, putting them in major peril.
A nightmare torments Lion-O. He believes that he was saved from his erupting planet as a youngster at the sacrifice of three other Thunderians. Jaga informs the now grown Lion-O that his nightmare is false.
Lion-O raids the Berserker's ship, but the rescue attempt fails and the captured Thunderians are taken to Fire Rock Mountain after another failed attempt on their part to break free from their captors. Weakened by the Thundrainium, the thunderians are trapped on the mountain.
On Hook Mountain, Lion-O prepares to battle Monikan in the Fistpounder, when they are caught in an avalanche.
The sun drains the powers of Mumm-Ra's mummy bandages and Lion-O escapes from their grasp.
Weakened by the Thunderians pits below, Lion-O hangs from the bridge at Fire Rock Mountain. Hachiman finally realizes that Mumm-Ra tricked him into believing that Lion-O had turned evil.
Mumm-Ra learns of the legendary Treasure of Thundera and the Sword of Plundar, which destroyed Thundera. He and Ma-Mutt travel back in space and time to search the debris of the planet for the sword.
Exploring the newly reformed New Thundera, the Thundercats discover that Mumm-Ra is using all the Snarfs as slave labour to dig for the lost Treasure of Thundera.
Mumm-Ra retrieves the Sword of Plundarr as the Thundercats arrive on New Thundera. While the Thundercats try to retrieve the sword and treasure, Snarf tries to find a way to free his fellow Snarfs.
The Mutants arrive and Mumm-Ra has them lure the Thundercats to a strange place where, except for Lion-O, they are all transformed into child versions of themselves.
Lion-O frees the child Thundercats from Mumm-Ra's spell, and then confronts him to retrieve the fabled Book of Omens.
Mumm-Ra finds the Treasure of Thundera called the Totem of Dera, which has the power to heal and bring inanimate objects to life, and gives it to Vultureman that he might turn it into a device of destruction to use against the Thundercats.
Lion-O learns of the Chain of Loyalty, and Jaga instructs him to retrieve it from New Thundera. But when Mumm-Ra breaks the chain, the Thundercats turn on each other, and Lion-O must find a way to stop them from destroying themselves.
The Thundercats search a canyon of crystals for one of the Treasures of Thundera known as the Keystone, an item which has the power to heal, but also corrupts and enslaves the unwary.
Vultureman uses a new weapon on Cheetara to overwhelm her sixth sense and destroy her belief in herself and block her awareness of greater dangers.
The Thundercats capture the Lunataks and exile them to Exile Isle, an asteroid in deep space far from Third Earth. There the villains soon meet up with the Captain Cracker and hatch a plan of escape.
While attempting to decode the Book of Omens Lion-O inadvertently traps himself within it. Mumm-Ra later steals the book, later becoming imprisoned in it himself.
Tygra, Panthro, and Cheetara return to New Thundera to locate more of the Treasure of Thundera, but Mumm-Ra lures them to the mystical Canyons of Youth, which transforms them into children once again.
Alluro's new Superfuel formula for Sky Tomb's engines causes the local plant and animal life to grow to massive proportions. The Lunataks give it to the Mutants, who sprinkle it around Cat's Lair.
The Locket of Lies is a magical object created by Mumm-Ra to appear as a part of the Treasure of Thundera. When opened, the gems inside act as a compass that points the way to the remaining treasure.
When the Thundercats bring back more of the Treasure of Thundera. Snarf is fascinated by a bracelet and sees that when adorned, it, makes everyone obeys him. Mumm-Ra becomes aware of this, and will stop at nothing to make it his own.
The Lunataks hook up exercise machines to generate Sky Tomb's engines, but their own laziness forces them to kidnap the Thundercats and force them to do the hard work.
Lion-O recovers a mysterious telescope from the wreckage of the original spaceship. Mumm-Ra recognises it as the Thunderscope, which allows its user to locate pieces of the Treasure of Thundera.
Mumm-Ra discovers the power of one of the pieces of the Treasure of Thundera, the Jade Dragon, which possesses the power to entrap people in its stomach.
When an inter-stellar circus train comes to town, the Thundercats seize the opportunity to rid themselves of both the Mutants, and the Lunataks.
Fed up with Mumm-Ra's failures, the Ancient Spirits of Evil give him one final day to rid Third Earth of the Thundercats.
The Thundercats depart Third Earth for New Thundera, leaving Tygra and Pumyra behind to watch over the Cat's Lair and Tower of Omens. Meanwhile, the Ancient Spirits of Evil resurrect Mumm-ra, building a new pyramid on New Thundera.
More and more earthquakes are occurring on New Thundera thanks to Mumm-Ra's sabotage of an arcane machine that lies at the center of the planet that holds its gravity together, watched over by the ancient Thunderian sorceress, Jagara.
Mumm-Ra sends Ma-Mutt disguised as Mandora to free the Mutants from the Circus Train. The Mutants are then ordered to get rid of Tygra and Pumyra back on Third Earth.

Mumm-Ra again seriously threatens to destroy the Gyroscope and thereby the newly reformed New Thundera. Jaga helps Lion-O think of a solution once and for all.
The Ancient Spirits of Evil bring a creature to Mumm-Ra called a Mirror Wraith, which he transforms as a doll and gives to a lost thunderian child named Leah, who keeps it and unwittingly puts the Thundercats in great danger.
Wilykit and Wilykat accidentally release Frogman. Seemingly harmless at first, he is soon revealed as a ruthless villain with the fearsome power to control all water.
While exploring New Thundera, Wilykit and Wilykat stumble upon a mysterious orb of gold and pick it up, believing it to be one of the Treasures of Thundera. However, it soon transpires that that is not the case.
Jagara cannot work the new Gyroscope alone, so the Thundercats send for someone to aid her. Screwloose, a robot who specializes in the technology, comes to Third Earth. But, Mumm-Ra tampers with his programming, making him destructive.
Mumm-Ra resurrects the ancient alchemist Malcar, but he returns old and weak. Mumm-Ra then sends him to the Canyons of Youth, which will restore his youth and power so that he may effectively defeat the Thundercats.
Panthro, Snarf, and later even Mumm-Ra fall prey to the waters of the Swamp of the Laughing Lillypads-which unless cured, will cause them to laugh until they die.
The twisted robo-pirate Captain Cracker frees the Lunataks from the Circus Train and they all plot to assault Third Earth, since most of the Thundercats are on New Thundera.
While on a solo trip to New Thndera, Tygra crash lands in an unexplored region of the planet's moss-land. There he is captured by a mysterious and mighty gigantic swamp beast.
Mumm-Ra has a powerful device called the Babylonian Babarian Boiler, that he plans to use against the Thundercats. However, the bumbling Ma-Mutt accidentally destroys the machine, causing an enraged Mumm-Ra to banish him from the pyramid.
The Ancient Spirits of Evil unleash the Shadowmaster, a dark sorcerer who may be even more powerful than Mumm-Ra. Fearing the Sprits will favour the Shadowmaster over him, Mumm-Ra hatches a secret plot to aid his enemies the Thundercats.
An ecology inspector comes to New Thundera to inspect the new Cat's Lair. His ship uses the Space Way Airborn Navigation system to direct him to planets throughout the universe. Upon arriving he is ambushed by Two-Time, who steals the ship.
Mumm-Ra reluctantly summons up the treacherous tentacled demon Amortus, who has the formidable ability to turn all living things into stone.
Vultureman escapes the Circus Train by hijacking a bookmobile. He discovers information about a powerful enemy of Mumm-Ra, Zaxx. Using this knowledge, Vultureman plots to overthrow Mumm-Ra and rule the universe.
Lion-O unwittingly drinks tainted water from the devastating Well of Doubt, which causes him to lose all his courage and self belief.
The key to the Book of Omens is finally solved and it is unlocked. All of the team must pass different tests to save the planet, and Lion-O faces many trials within the book to prove himself once and for all as Lord of the Thundercats.
