Roga from the Hiruko Clan has stolen the rare and powerful Dragon Stone.

Jubei tries to find a way to get the rare Dragon Stone to Shigure, however he is being hunted by two evil rival clans.

Jyashi and Rengoku attack Dakuan and Jubei to get the Dragon Stone.

The Dragon Stone gets split in two pieces and one of the half's gets sent to the Kimon Shu base.

Tsubute steals the Dragon Stone from Shigure and then meets Tatsunosuke, a thief who also wants it.

Jubei gets attacked and poisoned. He meets a boy and his mother and cure him. But he finds out that the monster that poisoned him can take different bodies.

Jubei's half of the stone gets stolen yet again by the Root Woman but a Kimon Shu member attacks her.

Rengoku will do whatever it takes to kill Jubei to avenge her brother's death.

Shigure gets saved by a man named Zofu who is from the Yagyu Clan. He tells her the secrets of the Hiruko Clan to her and also wants to kill an old friend. He might get that change with the help from Jubei.

Shigure has a unlikely friend by her side named Rokai who is a Hiruko Ninja. Shigure gets captured by the Kimon Shu and Rokai is unable to protect her.

Jubei has to save Shigure, so he takes a ship to a different area of Japan. While traveling, he meets Yagyu Reyna, a samurai who is cold blooded and wants the Dragon Stone and also, Shigure. But there is also a killer on the ship as well.

Jubei's commitment to save Shigure pays off when he, Dakuan, and Tsubute execute a successful rescue mission. But something is wrong, and Shigure is acting strangely. The outcome of war may depend on Jubei finding out why.

Shigure's destiny is unveiled and she now has to walk the path of the Priestess of Light. Can she do it without Jubei?
