The Last Days

Plot

Based on the documentary film "The Last Days" by James Moll, presents six accounts by survivors of the Holocaust in Hungary: Alice Lok Cahana, Irene Zisblatt, Bill Basch, Renée Firestone, Dario Gabbai, and Tom Lantos. The accounts are from videotaped testimonies recorded by the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation. The text is interspersed with photographic sections: Roundups, Ghettoization, Deportation and Selection, In the Camps, Disposal of the Bodies, and Liberation. The accounts are supplemented by those of three American soldiers who liberated Dachau.
