The Hunt For Extant, Part 3: Crime and Punishment
| Release: | Aug 16, 2000 |
| Cover: | Oct 2000 |
The entire JSA, along with Dove and Metron, confront Extant in his universe. Dove dies again, saving Hourman, then the rest of the Heroes split up and attack Extant all along his personal timeline, until Atom Smasher manages to remove the Worlogog from him. The universe resets itself, with the original Star-Spangled Kid fading away again. Extant jumps into a time tunnel to escape, and is pursued by Metron and Atom Smasher, who use the Worlogog to exchange Extant for Terri Rothstein before her plane crashes. Hourman, Starman, Hippolyta, Atom Smasher, and Dr. Fate all leave the JSA.
