Atom Smasher turned himself in for the things he did in Kahndaq, pleading guilty of all charges. The world reacts to this, including the Society and the JSA. At the same time, Power Girl finds out that Blue Beetle has been killed and Hourman is searching for Dr. Fate. As Atom Smasher is being taken from the courthouse, an OMAC attacks, looking for Mr. Terrific but unable to find him. Atom Smasher stops it, then is taken to Belle Reve prison.
