This hardback (1084 pp, published in 2000 by Christian Ministry Resources) is in used- very good condition. No writing or underlining in book; spine excellent, edges and corners of covers show no wear. The back cover has minimal slight rubs on it - please see the photos. According to the preface for 3rd edition, the author states the purpose of the text is to provide clergy, church board members and officers, attorneys, accountants and seminary students with a comprehensive yet readable analysis of the major laws affecting churches and clergy. One Amazon review of this text states: "Pastor, Church & Law" in a prominent spot on my law office bookshelf, and it seldom gathers much dust. It is my "go to" technical reference resource for most legal issues impacting my church and clergy clients. Thorough, well-organized, usefully indexed and packed with relevant caselaw. While I would consider my own book [...] to be an indispensable resource for laypersons facing common legal issues, I would consider "Pastor, Church & Law" to be equally indispensable for attorneys who provide legal counsel to churches, pastors and related organizations."
