Plot

In writing this book we hope to enable Forida residents and visitors to become acquainted with a few of the more conspicuous wild flowers of the state. We have endeavored to include representative flowers from all the principal plant formations that occur in the state, but admittedly we have not been able to include all the species. Rather, we have tried to include those flowering plants that a casual observer may see along the roadsides, in the fields and marshes, or in similar places within natural areas.
