Plot

Finally the time has come: Cara is allowed to take part in dragon flying competitions on Sternenstürmer's back - and goes from victory to victory! Her best friend Britta, of all people, is suffering because everything is going wrong for her and her dragon Mondfee this season. To prove her skills, she undertakes daring flight maneuvers. In doing so, she not only endangers the bond of trust with her dragon - but the mood between the two friends also becomes increasingly icy. But then a serious accident happens that changes everything for Cara and Britta...
