Minecraft is a block-infested sandbox building/exploring game developed by Mark Persson, aka 'Notch', and his company, Mojang AB. The 'full version' or Minecraft has been available on PC since November 18th, 2011, but the game has been popular since Beta testing opened to players in 2009.
