After X-Cutioner's Song all X-Force members are dealing with their personal problems... Cannonball, Syrin, Shatterstar, Boom-Boom, Warpath, Sunspot, Rictor and Wolfsbahne. And they're dealing with the main problem that makes them a team, one team - they are still teenagers and they still feel like outlaws. Even while living with the X-Men in Xavier's school - all they got is eachother. Their aggresive way of fighting for freedom does conflict with Professor Xavier's dream. The team decides to leave Xavier's school and Xavier's teachings.
