A Skrull vessel, pursued by Gladiator, rushes into the Solar System, exploding near Pluto. Gladiator continues to Earth, attacking the Fantastic Four, convinced that they are Skrulls. He takes out all four with ease, but is then met by Cyclops, Storm, Colossus and Nightcrawler, who challenge Gladiator in the Shi'Ar tongue they've never spoken before.
