Ben and Johnny pay Sue a visit, and the trio decide to confront Reed about reforming the FF. Before their plans can be finished, Psychoman technology is used to attack them and capture them. Once in captivity, they all learn that Doctor Doom has been manipulating them as Reed Richards' employer, and has mind controlled Reed into fighting the others.
