To Judge or Not to Judge
• Jesus warns about being judgmental.. 1-5
• It’s foolish – v 1-2 (expect to be judged same)
• It’s prideful – v 3-4 (see splinter, but overlook beam)
• It’s hypocritical – v 5 (judge others w/o examining self)
• We should judge those who live wickedly.. 6
• “Dogs” tear up God’s truth
• “Pigs” trample God’s truth


Golden Promise, Golden Rule
• God promises to answer our prayers.. 7-11
• Ask and keep asking – v 7-8
• Expect a willing answer – v 9-11
• God challenges us to the Golden rule.. 12
• Start with what you would want
• Finish with what others want
• Rejoice this is what God wants
