Referendum 65
We the undersigned citizens and legal voters of the state of Washington, respectfully order and direct that Referendum Measure 65 filed to revoke a bill that would add “sexual orientation” to the state’s law against discrimination in employment, housing, credit, insurance, and certain contracts. “Sexual orientation” includes heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality and gender expressions, identity, appearance, and behavior that was passed by the 2006 legislature of the state of Washington at the last regular session shall be referred to the people of the state for their approval or rejection at the regular election to be held on the 7th day of November 2006, and each of us says, I am a legal voter of the State of Washington… and I have knowingly signed this petition only once.
