The focus of this small-group resource is on exploring the nature of change, how it makes an impact on our lives, and possible responses to the discontinuities you encounter. That we experience constant change is a given. The question is how we can respond most effectively to the transitions in our life. God's gifts to understand change include the insights of the social sciences. This study draws on these resources with the hope that individuals use the best knowledge and information available. Christian faith, enriched with learning from human experience, can enable us to transcend the painful disadvantages of personal and social change - to discover the unexpected, joyful advantages of a new situation or stage in life.
