Beginning with the vision that drives the International Mission Board a vision consistent with Gods purpose, characterized by Gods power, and compelled by Gods passion the reader will be confronted with the clear mandate of Scripture and needs of a lost world. A foundational prayer strategy and an unequivocal church-planting methodology will be presented as essential components for kingdom growth.Churches will find practical handles for participating in short-term volunteer projects, sending missionaries, adopting Unreached People Groups, providing cooperative support, and joining partnerships that expand our potential and accelerate the harvest.This book provides an awareness of how God is at work throughout the world, an understanding of the strategy and work of the International Mission Board, and how churches can have ownership and participate in reaching the nations.But more than that, it challenges the reader to a new urgency in reaching the lost for Christ. One day we will stand accountable before God for failing to reap the harvest where hearts were open and responsive but difficult to reach because of political or other barriers. We will have to account for those who never had an opportunity to know Jesus.God has committed to us the task of being His witnesses and discipling the nations. May we be found faithful as we empower the growth of His kingdom, literally to the ends of the earth.
