Product Description This is the story of a do-it-yourself bus driver and his wife zigzagging across the United States and Canada in a home made bus conversion. Only three breakddowns occurred and were repaired with the assistance of professionals and good samaritans. Interesting people were met on the way but a painful malady overtook the bus driver. The route spanned California to Texas, on to Michigan to Washington, Virginia, New England, Canada, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and home. They traveled over 10,000 miles and only had $1,000 in breakdowns . . . not bad! The author is a member of the Elk's Lodge and enjoyed the hospitality of over 25 Elk's lodges enroute.
