Jesus told us that the greatest commandment is to love God with all of our heart, soul, strength, and mind and the second greatest is to love our neighbor as ourselves. We often emphasize the vertical relationship with God, while the horizontal relationships with our neighbors are neglected. Simon Schrock has written a gentle reminder to each of us about our duty to our fellow man. At one time or another, everyone needs a helping hand, an encouraging pat on the back, or simply someone to listen.
