Plot

When tragedy leaves Joy Winslow and her brother homeless and separated in drought-stricken North Dakota, Joy is forced to ride the rails to find him. A handsome young performer named Trace Gallagher rescues her from dangerous vagrants, and together they take jobs in a circus. Joy finds her niche performing with the big cats, but she still desires to help her brother, whom she has learned was falsely imprisoned in Mexico. Torn by love for family, Trace, and her career, and a desire for revenge on those who wronged her, Joy must above all find peace in her own heart.
