Plot

Abstract: Fifteen traits commonly found in healthy families(by those who work with them) are identified. Family strengths and positive aspects are considered rather than problem areas. The traits are: communicating and listening; supporting one another; respecting each other; trusting eachother; playing together and sharing humor; spending leisure time together; sharing responsibilities; sensing right and wrong; sharing rituals and traditions; participating in a religious core; respecting each other's privacy; being of service to others; and admitting to and seeking help with problems. Each trait is analyzed in depth in its own chapter. The questionnaire used to obtain the information isincluded. No one family was reported to have all 15 traits. (kbc).
