Plot

They called him the Trailsman all across the West. Skye Fargo: searcher, scout, hunter, the man who could see where others only looked, his skills for hire but not his soul. Red Sand was a town of white settlers in the remote heart of the Indian territory that would one day be Oklahoma. The townsfolk would do anything not to stir up trouble with the Indians -- even if it meant ignoring the butchering of passing wagon trains. Skye Fargo's first mistake was to try to stop the slaughter; his second mistake was to try to find out who was behind it. Now he's down to his last mistake -- one he can't afford to make.
