Plot

Moses Lard, son of Leven and Mary Lard, was born October 29, 1818 and died June 17, 1880. He married Mary Ann Riffe on September 26, 1842. He supported his family working as a minister and a very capable tailor. He graduated in 1849 from Bethany College, Bethany, Virginia as valedictorian. He was a successful preacher in Missouri and Kentucky, and was an author, editor and publisher.
