It is very clinical and gives you a better understanding of converting western symptomology to eastern diagnosis. It also has cases that are commonly seen in a clinical setting, and treatment plans and formulas for those particular cases. It has a research section at the end of each topic where they experiment with methods like, scalp acupuncture to treat PMS.
