AOM STUDENT REVIEW: "Just like the title states, it pretty much covers all the common topics in female disorders before menopause. The chapters are divided into the various symptoms or disorders, which are further divided into eastern diagnoses. There are key characteristics, treatment principle, formulas with explanation of each ingredient, and modifications to formulas. It is very clinical and gives you a better understanding of converting western symptomology to eastern diagnosis. It also has cases that are commonly seen in a clinical setting, and treatment plans and formulas for those particular cases. It has a research section at the end of each topic where they experiment with methods like, scalp acupuncture to treat PMS. This is definitely a must read for those that want to specialize in female disorders." J. Woo, COAM.
