The Necronomicon ex Mortis, the foul Book of the Dead. Within it's covers, on pages of human flesh there can be found incantations and rituals penned in human blood, designed to summon demons and raise an army of the dead. So when Ash finds himself in a close proximity of the Marvel Universe on the eve of a super-powered Zombie outbreak he immediately begins searching for the book once again. In this universe, it is the property of Victor von Doom, King of Latveria. And as Ash is going to learn to his disadvantage, Doom has little tolerance for fools. But Ash is a resourceful fool.
