Alan Quatermain’s (Richard Chamberlain) brother Robeson (Martin Rabbett) while searching in Africa for a lost tribe of white people. Jessie (Sharon Stone) is a fellow explorer and Alan’s fiancée. Alan is also accompanied by a warrior, Umslopogaas (James Earl Jones), and a mystic, Swarma (Robert Donner). While going through the jungle and searching for his brother, Alan comes across the Lost City of Gold. Robeson seems fine, but there is a greedy smuggler named Agon (Henry Silva) pretending to be a priest. Alan and his friends also get themselves in trouble because they kill a sacred lion outside the gates of the city. They and Robeson must try to free the city’s people.
