Brødre

Michael (Ulrich Thomsen) has it all- a family, a lovely wife, Sarah (Connie Nielsen), and a successful career in the military. His brother Jannik (Nikolaj Lie Kaas), on the other hand, is more of a drifter. Michael’s helicopter crashes during a UN mission in Afghanistan. He is missing in action, and his family fears the worst. While Sarah worries, Jannik steps in to comfort her, and becomes a reliable person on which she can rely. He becomes more responsible for both himself and her family. Soon, they realize that their feelings for each other have risen beyond the levels of straightforward sympathy. Then Michael comes home, suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after being held captive in Afghanistan, and they must all look at how their lives have changed and figure out how to put the pieces back together.
