Almost as soon as Julianne Potter (Julia Roberts) realizes she has finally fallen in love with her best friend Michael (Dermot Mulroney), he calls and tells her that there will, in fact, be a wedding. The problem is, he's marrying another woman. As the wedding preparations are made, Julianne tries everything in her power to prevent Michael’s wedding to blonde bombshell Kimberly (Cameron Diaz) and to try and steal her place at the altar. Little does Julianne know, Kimberly could also become a best friend herself. Both slapstick and sweet, “My Best Friend’s Wedding” is a classic romantic comedy that leaves you laughing and crying all the way down the aisle.
